Break the Impossibility & Embrace the Possibility of TODAY

"Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.-Matthew 7:6

For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.
-Proverbs 24:16

Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories.-Sun Tzu

When I was about 16 years old I started to lift weights. I was religious though I knew very little about it I did it 3 days a week. I was taking my post-workout shakes and I gained some muscle. I remember people started to notice and I was ecstatic. I was like wow I could be something other than skinny or fat! Then I got hit by remarks from critics. People saying why do you walk like that? Do you think you are built? You'll never be as big as I am.

I took all that to heart, and it shaped my life until recently. Frankly, I didn't realize the ramifications some of those terms would have in my life. This is what happens when you let people who have no worth into your life. You see there are people who are allowed into your life for a season, there are those who are meant to be acquaintances, and then there are those who are meant to help you become better. The problem with many of us is that we just let anyone into our lives. If they're cute, sexy, handsome, well educated, well mannered, and often we go by our guts. The issue is that many of use end up being de-gutted by those same people.

Let me make this clear. You were made to be YOU. You're an original copy there are no duplicates, there will never be another, so why would you let someone else tell you what you are supposed to be? Not saying that having a mentor, coach, or teacher is bad, but you must be able to take what is learned and apply it with knowledge and discernment.

There will always be critics in life, and I was too sheltered to know how bad the world really was when I was a lad, however, realizing that no matter how not special people said I was showed me that God really has us marked as being special. We are special beyond belief my friends. Each and everyone of us is meant to do great things, but we have a choice. We can take what people say we cannot do and live our lives based on the pretentious justification of impossibility or accept the possibility and GROW.

You see if I'm to be honest or frank with anyone here I will tell you how it really is for most people. Life has it's blood sucking whores. Many of us lay with them and give them the preciousness that we have... whether it be our heart, our character, our careers .... whatever they will enjoy you for the night... but when morning comes YOU are left with nothing. It is really time for us to separate ourselves from the use, abuse, and leaches in our lives and it is really time for us to embrace possibility.

Know your enemy. He aims for the heart. He aims to scar you in any way possible, and make you cold, over reactive, or in reality just numb. In other words he aims to make you useless. He aims to make you content and aims to make you accept limitations. The question you must ask yourself every time is do you have to? Do you have to live confined in a box, confined by what others think? Confined by what your childhood said? Confined by what the teacher said about you being lazy and unmotivated? The answer is NO.

You were meant for more... you can DO more... you can BE more... you can ACHIEVE more... It is time to end the circle of mediocrity in your life. BE MORE!

I have battled for the last few months with this enemy. (Digging it out and removing the roots) It's a very real thing for all of us! Even if you refuse to admit it. We are all marked and bear scars of life, but just because we bear scratches it does not mean we settle.

If you want to learn to climb mountains then prepare yourself mentally to never turn back. A champion is someone that has no exit plan for what if on their paths to success. My challenge? Push yourself... be all that you can be. Never accept what is said to be impossible, because the only one who limits you is God not Man.

Continue to Train, Hit the Gym, Be Smart, Train Smart, Accept what is Useful and Reject what is useless.

Much Love and Success in your Battles,

Luis
