Kettlebell Body Complexes

I have had to change training methods. While using the classical methods of training have gotten me good results as far as size I needed to modify the body mechanics to remove fascial barriers and muscular imbalances from childhood. Luckily one of the great trainers on the west coast came up with a great set of complexes to do just this. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.


Fall Down 7 Times, Stand up 8

I have not written in a while, and I hope all of you find yourselves well. Recently I have moved and had all kinds of challenges in my life. From having to redo a question on my competency exam and having to do it long distance and having communication problems with the school to moving over 700 miles to reset my life. It has been really extensively busy. To tell you the truth I had a hard time with it all. It is not that it was difficult to move, and it is not that it was difficult to retake the question. It was the circumstance of the internal environment. I had a mental block. I was in disbelief about it all. At this time I had imagined myself being way further in my life.  However, since the middle of 2008 I was not listening to my own inner voice... no I was listening to the voices in my life.

I reached the point that I dumped out the majority of them. I had to start from scratch and begin from the very basic point. I had to define WHO AM I? I am not a position, I am not a title, I am me, I am Lu.  I have had to leap beyond the paths of self accomplishments. I am a human being and what makes me come alive. You know your material Lu, but you let the pressures of the exam get to you... but this time you go in and you take its head off. You moved 700+ miles, but this is because you needed rest. You needed a reminder of what the intention of the whole journey was and should have been. It was a journey to find and evolve the healer inside of you.

Well... I have taken a step in the right direction. I have gotten back to my body-working roots. I just finished getting the announcement that I passed my Master's Examination and will be graduating this week. I am not my failures.... failure is only staying down when you fall. Failure is not falling.... when you fall you get back up again. I have dedicated myself to being myself in all ways..... while advisors are great... in the end you are the one who does the work. Unless the work exudes for your inner being your success will be lack luster.

Never Give Up... Never Surrender

Today I encourage you to remove the noise and be yourself, and if you have fallen down... get back up, because even if you got the test before the lesson... there is always a retake. God bless and much Love.

The Biggest Loser Complex: What it takes to Win!

This is a topic I have wanted to cover for a while, and it is a topic that is sweeping America. I have identified it as the Biggest Loser Complex. 


With the Medical and Supplement company making billions of dollars there is a constant race to come out with the biggest newest system for weight loss. From fat burners, to crazy cardio, boot camps, and slim spas everyone has something for people to lose weight. However, many fall off and fall back into their old ways after their new year's resolutions due to lack of chemical balance in their body.

There are so may people who crash diet back and forth and gain weight because they have attachments to food in unhealthy ways. Most people do NOT eat to live, but LIVE to EAT. They put toxic chemicals that have been "allowed" into the food system and have no idea what they are eating. For instance.... did you know that most fast food burgers... yes... this includes chicken places... typically have 60+ ingredients in the main dish? Places like Burger King, McDonald's and KFC have 80+ in just the burger main dish portions? Yes, America this is the biggest loser complex.

We are the biggest losers as we do not stand up for better quality food for us in the system. Our kids are becoming more and more obese in the public schools, because they are loaded with GMO foods everyday, and we wonder why the test scores for academics is going through the floor?

We have a society that works 40+ hours a week, has chronic fatigue, chronic depression, and have the majority of the populous being at least obese. We our friends are stuck in this complex.

What can break the complex? Learning that food is fuel and it should be used in proper context. Knowing that gluten itself along with many other chemicals including High Fructose Corn Syrup are literally the devil and will cause systematic withdrawals and imbalances. Yet, it is in most of our food.

Gluten itself will degrade your intestinal lining and become blood borne. This issue of loose proteins in the blood stream has been documented as an issue especially with gluten in many studies. It is stated that gluten itself can become an opioid derivative. Yes, that is the same kind of chemical that is found in intravenous morphine and imagine what it will do to your child before an exam?

What does it take to win this battle?

First, Eat clean foods! That means food that has not been pasteurized to the point of chemical change. You see the issues with pasteurization is not the process but what it does to the food. Eg. Milk when pasturized completely changes the chemical formation of the protein and becomes inflammation causing and allergy causing. Goats Milk & cheeses are simple forms and digest easily. Get your meats and other products from local farms and in the rawest or purest form possible. Greens at least 3 plates stacked high a day to help alkaline your body. Veggies in every color. Don't worry if you eat a lot of red veggies you won't turn red. =)

Secondly, Exercise. Exercise Effectively. Unless you are training for competitions you do not need to be in the gym doing endless cardio, and taking supplements out the ying yang. Food First! Supplements Second. Strength Train to build mass, neurologically develop yourself, and improve coordination. Using proper form over heavy weight. If it sacrifices your form don't do it! If you don't have access to weight use body weight, as your gym is always with you.

Thirdly, Take care of your body! Sleep at least 7-8 hours a day! It will release the needed hormones to allow you to repair and rest, and after a crazy day you need to regenerate! Too many people are stimulant dependent and that will fry out your nervous system and hormonal system.

Lastly, Water! Purified water is the best way to go! At least half your bodyweight in ounces is required for optimal function. Thats right for a 100lb person at least 50oz's to keep everything moving and grooving.

New Year& New Findings: Heavy Metals

As read in my previous blogs. Neurological issues have been the burden of my past few years. Due to bad eating, lack of exercising, and ineffective lifestyle. Fast-forward to the current state and dilemma. I am recovering from the past issues and finally found a possible cause to the metabolic downfall. Mercury.... yes this wonderful heavy metal has been used in dentistry for many years for capping and filling teeth. While many have gone away and use resin bases now those of us who are above the age of 20 have residuals left in our teeth. Nice shiny metal pieces filling our source of life and leaching its way into our systems with every bite, sip, and swallow.

I noticed a major gap when making a mouth observation to go to the dentist. I didn't want to go to a normal dentist as normal dentist have closed minds as to how the mouth should heal, etc. I decided to go to a natural dentist that used holistic means to help the oral process become a more effective practice.

The doctor stated that the filling I had was very loose, and she saw a missing piece. For those who do not know a missing piece of random poisonous metal being digested especially mercury can cause many issues. From the degradation of neurons to the attachment onto organs it is a pretty safe assumption that it can cause harm.

With this finding I became perplexed. I had to ask... can this have severe issues if ingested over long periods of time? She said yes... especially if you are sensitive to it or any other metals.

Symptoms: Forgetfulness, Inability to Concentrate, Lack of coordination, Loss of muscular conditioning,  Difficulty Learning... Etc... This heavy metal is in not only Amalgams as stated in my story but also in vaccines.

Finally, it all made sense to me. I have been poisoned for the last three years little by little by something I was not aware of... sure the other factors definitely played a role, but this was major. I asked... if it could be taken out... she said YES. I was excited... she told me I would need to take precautions as she would as well. Hers being that she would need to wear a mask during the extraction as mercury air born is toxic as can be. (Just like food they try and grab toxins and make them useful only to find out later that it just adds to the sick care of America) Continuing on... I got all my teeth scaled and clean... and am looking forward to this fiasco to be done with. I am taking high doses of chlorella to extract metals. I will continue to apply what I have learned and know to my daily life... My request for everyone is that if you have these fillings... take them out... they can change your life in a dramatic way, and I would not wish these last 3 years on my worst enemy.
